Managers all over the country are being expected to move their teams to a work-at-home environment at the drop of a hat, many without much of any experience in managing a virtual team. Leading Virtually is a program for managers that will provide ongoing guidance and support as we all move through this crisis together.
About Leading Virtually
Managing a work-from-home team is as much an art as it is a science. Leading Virtually is a program specifically designed for managers who need to keep their team productive and engaged as they navigate this unprecedented situation.
Leading Virtually will be led by Dr. Karlyn Borysenko, an organizational psychologist with over a decade of experience working with and on virtual teams.
Through weekly live meetings, participants will receive ongoing support that will help them to keep team morale and productivity high, and develop a high-performing resilient team in a virtual working environment.
Participants will also be able to get advice and guidance regarding the specific challenges they are confronting with their teams in real time, both in our weekly Zoom conference calls and through posting in the community in between.
Since this is an ongoing challenge with no clear end in sight, how long the program will run for is currently unclear. It is planned for at least two months, and will culminate as things return to mostly business as usual.
What You’ll Get
Weekly live group meetings via Zoom video conference
The program will run for at least two months, and continue until things return to business as usual. Each call will be recorded. You will have access to the library of recordings in case you miss it.
Ongoing support in a private group.
You will have unlimited access to ask questions and receive guidance on your specific challenges from the program lead, as well as others in it in a private community.
Training specific to how to be an amazing boss in a virtual environment.
The content from the Manager Mastery program will be adapted to focus specifically on being the best boss your team could ask while they are working from home.
A customized management profile
You’ll completely a DISC Management Profile that will give you insight on your natural leadership style and show you how to adapt to the specific needs of your team.
Understand how to integrate coaching
To get the most out of your virtual team, and to keep up their morale and productivity, you must be an amazing coach. This program will teach you how and show you how to integrate coaching into your management toolbox.
